Word from Mythology: Labyrinth

The English word labyrinth is from the Greek word labyrinthos, which means a maze with winding passages. In Greek mythology, Daedalus built a labyrinth for King Minos of Crete in which to imprison the Minotaur. You can read more about labyrinths at Wikipedia.
