Word Mix-Up: IDLE and IDOL
IDLE: The adjective "idle" means inactive, not working, unemployed.
IDOL: An "idol" is a statue or some other image that represents a god or goddess. By metaphorical extension, an idol can be anyone or anything that is worshiped or admired. To "idolize" somebody is to treat them like an idol.
