Word from Mythology: Jovial

The word jovial means someone who is joyful and jolly. It comes from the name of the Roman god Jupiter, also known as Jove, the idea being that people born under the influence of the planet Jupiter had jovial personalities.  At Wikipedia, you can read more about the Roman god Jupiter, and also about his Greek equivalent Zeus.
